With the backdrop of 1 million sunflowers, it is hard to not think of positivity and possibility. Hope, new life, growth — all things we need in our lives, now, more than ever. “Embrace Your Daydream” is the message I think the world needs to hear right now. It is a message of hope and perseverance. It’s for the dreamers and the do-ers, with a combination of whimsy and ambition. The vision for my mural is a combination of organic lettering, echoing the life radiating from the sunflowers, coupled with geometric shapes, to signify the progression of the Village space coming to life beyond the wall. From afar, the sunflower field flows into the mural with a matched colour pallet of yellows, greens and blues. The geometric shapes are reminiscent of the sunflowers themselves, bringing innovation and nature together.
