They say the antidote to negative thinking is creative doing – which is precisely why these four words have become my life’s motto. I believe this small and simple statement serves as a powerful reminder for people to be mindful of their waste consumption / production. More importantly, this mural aims to encourage creativity by sending a message to the members of our community to explore various forms of self expression and simply CREATE MORE. As an abstract artist who organically creates artwork that is vibrant, lively, energetic and colourful. I aspire to create an incredibly dynamic backdrop that will elevate and inspire the Lakeview community.

  • Introducing Faith – A vibrant, trilingual, self-taught visual artist who resides in Toronto, Canada and specializes in large scale custom artwork and murals. While she is best known for her dynamic abstract and portrait paintings, her creative expertise also includes creative mentorship, festival decor, events, art installations, live painting, workshops and more. Faith’s artwork is extremely versatile in both style and subject matter, which allows her to create lively and unique pieces. Her creative hunger drives her to continually evolve as she experiments with new and innovative ways of playing with textures, technique and styles. Her profound love for colour and music have always been her main sources of inspiration. Her philosophy is that art is a natural byproduct of the combination of the two. At a young age, she was enthralled by creative DIY art projects which soon became her favourite form of self-expression and therapy. As a mental health advocate, Faith aims to highlight the highs and lows associated with mental illness and capture an important message through her creative process – “Consume less, create more.” Currently, Faith’s mission is to continuously evolve as both an artist and entrepreneur. As her career progresses, she plans to share her discoveries and journey with the hopes of inspiring others to pursue their own passions. “I create not to be seen but to be experienced, allowing the viewer to make an honest connection between my work and their own emotions”
