Artist in Residence Program - 2022/2023

We are excited to announce the launch of the spring 2023 round of workshops as part of the Artist in Residence program at the Discovery Centre hosted in partnership with Artscape.

Workshop Details

The series will give the community an opportunity to immerse themselves in the natural environment and learn creative practices from Indigenous teachings such as birch bark basket making, pin making, finger weaving, and canoe paddle painting. This session's teachers include Indigenous artists Naomi Smith from Black Tulip Designs and Pandora Wilhelm from Mulberry Design & Engravings.
